Empathic lamps
Creating awareness among society that obsolescence is a trap for the consumer is one of the keys to the implementation
of the circular economy. And in order to continue advancing in this regard, it is essential to count on the commitment
of suppliers and new generations..

For consumers, it is more intelligent and satisfying
to buy products in which they feel reflected,
with which they empathize and with
which they can build their own identity, which
implies less purchases and more commitment,
both socially as well as intelligent design.
And this is because the economy has reigned
relentlessly in the last 25 years, also in education.
It is time to once again support a culture
that makes our society strong, without
overlooking the economic factor, but not in a
unconnected way.
For this reason, connecting with people is one
of LZF’s core values. A lifeblood that begins
in work teams, which function organically as
a family, in collaboration with designers and
master craftsmen who expand our knowledge
and recuperate our know-how, values that are
being lost and that finally reach the consumer
by telling his story, his philosophy, his way of
understanding life.
Betting on eco-design
Care and preservation of the environment is
the way for launching a new circular design
methodology with a strong root of help and
social support but without losing sight of the
intrinsic and functional beauty of each design.
LZF works to implement eco-design strategies
throughout its entire production process,
from manufacturing to the final shipment of
products. In addition, it promotes a culture
of environmentally responsible consumption,
investments in the preservation of the environment
and the dissemination of commitments
aimed at a more sustainable and responsible
management model. As a pioneer company in
Spain in terms of sustainability and ecological
design throughout the production cycle, we
at LZF we are committed to consuming FSC
woods and advanced technologies such as:
intelligent light management systems, energy
saving and the implementation of new LED
technologies, which contribute considerably to
achieving energy and costs.
Most of the energy consumption and CO2
emissions of a lamp occurs during its operation,
and not during its manufacturing process.
Therefore, that stage is a fundamental point
in savings strategies, especially in component
technology. LZF uses dimmable digital electrical
ballasts, energy saving measures and reduced
CO2 emissions. These savings mean at
the same time an improvement of the product,
which offers greater comfort, greater profitability
and better lighting quality. Another of
the Eco-Design strategies used by LZF is the
result of its commitment to the environment
and the collaboration with Aidimme in order
to redesign the packaging of the products. The
result is packaging of LZF lamps made from
recycled cardboard and the replacement of
plastic by cornstarch, which makes it 100%
recyclable and biodegradable.
