Reformulando el textil en clave
sostenible
Reformulating the textile in sustainable code
Resuinsa joins the commitment to sustainability with a visionary proposal for products that will mark the
next step for the hotel industry in the fight against climate change, thanks to its collections that have reset
the textile business: Cotton EBO, Cotton Plus, Lino EBO and the Vita Collection.
The EBO Cotton collection of towels and bathrobes, satin sheets,
percale sheets and tablecloths are made of 100% Ecological,
Biological and Organic cotton using a material that does not use
insecticides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers and that favors
the natural cycles of the Earth, backed by the GOTS standard.
Cotton PLUS is made with 60% virgin cotton and 40% postindustrial
cotton, that is, from the remains of yarn and cotton
fabrics left over from the cutting process.
Likewise, no pesticides or other chemical substances have been
used in the Lino EBO Collection of sheets and tablecloths which
is made with 100% Ecological, Biological and Organic Linen.
Finally, Vita Collection aims to give a new life to products that
would otherwise become waste, thereby contributing to the circular
economy. In 2020, the company became part of the United
Nations Global Compact, the largest corporate sustainability initiative
in the world with a presence in more than 160 countries
based on the universal principles of human rights, labor, environment
and anti-corruption, and whose goal is to achieve the 17
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that will mark the 2030
agenda.
