31 The viewpoint of the Hotel Barceló Raval The intervention in this open space, located in the vantage point of the Hotel Barceló in the Raval of Barcelona, was integrated and included the 360-degree signage with lighting, to the vertical garden with the terrace, the stools, the cupbearer and the made-to-measure sun parasols, among other furniture and products. All the elements of this terrace were oriented to enjoy the views offered by the location. The design proposal of Conca and Marzal was the key point in its selection by Heineken, and will place the brand as one of the reference points for tourism in the city of Barcelona. El Principe (Príncipe Felipe Science Museum, Valencia) The Studio proposed a terrace where the natural elements are the leading factors so that they can provide a sensation of rest and relaxation through nature, in a space where white predominates. In this way, natural elements of the furniture combine with the wood of the tables and plants creating a sense of oasis in a space as architecturally powerful space as the City of Arts and Sciences. The furniture, like the rest of the landscape where it is framed, comes in white and clear tones, so that it can dissolve chromatically with the rest of the landscape. Grill Restaurant in the Plaza de Colón (Madrid) This terrace rises upon a stage and parabens Conca y Marzal is a design studio specializing in graphic design, product design and interior design. Founded by Vicente Marzal and Juanjo Conca in 1997, it has specialized in the creation of brandmarks and their application in spaces, with interior design and decoration projects. This is the agency which has been selected for national matters by Heineken, which therefore allows them to design all the interior design projects for the Dutch multinational and adjusts them to the needs of the client. In addition, they have developed such well-known graphics as the signage for the new Metro Valencia, the Levante UD logo, the identity of BCN World, Europe’’s largest tourism and leisure centre, the Ginself logo and packaging, the wellknown gin and all the graphic communication of Formula E. have been created that delimit the space within the framework of this large plaza in Madrid where a kiosk has also been added which will offer drinks to customers’, consistent with a clean and open concept with straight lines. Tapas Carmelitas, Barcelona Carmelitas tapas with an industrial and bohemian style. To design both the exterior and interior of the premises, Conca i Marzal resorted to furniture with an industrial style. In this project, in addition to the chairs and tables, the studio has designed outdoor carts which can hold cutlery, oil dispensers and other utensils for changing tables in a comfortable and quick way with the advantage of not having to enter the premises for each occasion.
