as oak and birch woods, textures and colours. The powerful corporate
green colour, along with degrading vegetation and the combination of
different types of lighting, turns Cottet into a sophisticated place but at
the same time comfortable and cosy.
All the commercial furnishing on the walls and floors has been developed
with the display requirements of the optical and audio products
in mind, in addition to their functionality and ergonomics. It comes in
several aesthetic versions, some with more classic nuances, but also
adapted to a more contemporary world, and others where technology
and the shopping experiences go hand in hand. One of the elements
iconic elements of the project stands out: the digital display encapsulated
into an antique frame design, just behind the main checkout desk.
Timeless flooring
Various types of flooring configure the spaces, with a continuation of
the exterior pavement using the typical Barcelona flower tile, which is
joined to an oak herringbone parquet floor, a timeless reference point
in interior design, which combines with the entire space, with the exhibition
furniture and props.
And in terms of the health spaces (cabinets, visual gym, glasses, etc.) a
laminate in shades of cementitious grey has been chosen that provides
a more ‘techie’ appearance, integrating into the most innovative design
of these areas.
Lighting, of vital importance in every retail project, has been created
with different shades lighting, using a semi-cold light in general to illuminate
and to enhance the product, other warmer tones have been
selected for spaces such as customer service places and waiting rooms;
and finally, another more indirect one was chosen which generates a
uniform light envelope in the room, where each corner has its importance.
